Reaching Claude Opus 4.8 through Azure-hosted Microsoft Foundry exposes it alongside Claude Haiku 4.5 through the Messages API, with Microsoft-managed identity, billing, networking, and governance controls plus selectable data residency, including a US data zone. The same model is simultaneously available on Snowflake Cortex AI as a same-day launch-partner public preview, where it can be used with Cortex Code, Cortex Agents, and Cortex AI Functions inside the secure Snowflake perimeter, giving data and engineering teams two distinct enterprise surfaces for orchestrating Claude Opus 4.8 on agentic coding and analytical workloads.
