MiMo-V2-Pro

MiMo-V2-Pro is Xiaomi's flagship foundation model built to serve as the brain of agent systems. With over 1 trillion parameters and a 1-million-token context window, it is deeply optimized for real-world agentic workloads rather than simple conversation. The model expands what Xiaomi calls the "action space" of frontier intelligence—moving beyond code generation to orchestrating autonomous digital operations across complex workflows. It integrates with general agent frameworks like OpenClaw, positioning itself to drive production engineering tasks and deliver results reliably at scale. Benchmark results place it among the global top tier on ClawBench and PinchBench evaluations, with performance approaching leading proprietary models from OpenAI and Anthropic.

The project was led by Fuli Luo, a veteran of the disruptive DeepSeek R1 initiative, and the team described the release as a deliberate "quiet ambush" on the global AI frontier. Rather than competing on conversational fluency alone, MiMo-V2-Pro was engineered to handle long-horizon tasks and multi-step tool orchestration that would otherwise require extensive human involvement. While Xiaomi has established itself as a consumer hardware and IoT titan, this release signals a strategic push into frontier AI development. The company has indicated plans to open-source a model variant once stability is assured, suggesting a commitment to community access alongside proprietary deployment.
