DeepSeek V4 Pro (Alibaba Cloud)

Based on the available gateway listings, a related Alibaba Cloud variant identified as DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813 is documented as an open-weight text-to-text reasoning model that supports tool invocation. It is described on the OhMyGPT model listing as having official weights hosted on Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, with the cataloged API limit context window and a maximum output of 384K tokens. These figures reflect a model positioned for extended-context tasks such as long document analysis and multi-step reasoning workflows, with tool support suggesting it can be integrated into agentic pipelines that require structured function calls alongside natural language understanding.

The DeepSeek V4 family sits within a broader Alibaba Cloud model lineup that includes lighter siblings like DeepSeek V4 Flash and its vision-capable experimental variant. The Pro tier's larger context budget, reasoning focus, and tool-use support make it well suited for complex analytical workloads, code generation requiring multi-file awareness, and research assistants that need to maintain long conversational histories. As a member of the deepseek-thinking family, it carries forward the lineage's emphasis on explicit reasoning capabilities, distinguishing it from general-purpose chat models in the same ecosystem.
